d’Arbeloff MGH Research Scholar 2022-2027, were among the inaugural recipients of the Krantz Awards from the Krantz Family Center for Cancer Research at Massachusetts General Hospital.
The awards were established in 2023 to support Krantz Center faculty in developing highly impactful cancer research projects.
Dr. Boland and team received a 2023 Breakthrough Award to explore a new and highly promising therapy for melanoma that involves surgically harvesting immune cells that naturally invade tumors, massively expanding them in the lab and then reinjecting them into the patient.
Dr. Mostoslavsky and team received a 2023 Breakthrough Award for a project that will test whether targeting genes that control cancer cell metabolism can improve treatment outcomes in pancreatic cancer.
Dr. Stott received a 2023 Spark Award to research non-invasive blood testing to detect immunotherapy complications.
